Allu Arjun Biography

Allu Arjun who is also known as Bunny or Mallu Arjun is a renowned Indian actor, mostly starring in South Indian movies. He has played leading roles in many super hit movies like ‘Arya’, ‘Race Gurram’, ‘Sarrainodu’, and many more. He has starred in more than 20 movies until now.

He was born on 8 April 1983 in a Telugu family in Madras. His mother is Nirmal and his father Allu Arvind is a famous producer. Arjun is the second child among the three children. His elder sibling Venkatesh is a businessman and his younger sibling Sirish is an actor. He has earned a degree in BBA from MSR College, Hyderabad. In school days the actor was interested in sports and martial arts. By profession he is a graphic animator, so he is very good at painting. Allu Arjun is also known as a charcoal artist. He loves to sketch in his free time. He is interested in paintings of human anatomy & architecture drawing. He also loves to listen to music and watch movies. He says that “I am a hardcore music lover and that’s why I can dance well.”

 Allu Arjun started his acting career in early childhood in the film Vijetha (1985). He made his leading debut in 2003 from the film Gangotri. This movie broke many records. After his success in the movie ‘Arya’, his acting career has sky-rocketed. He is happily married to Sneha Reddy in 2011 and is blessed with a son ‘Allu Ayaan’ and a daughter ‘Allu Arha’, having a happy and ideal family.

The actor is popularly known as a Stylish Star for his great acting and dancing skills. He has earned many Filmfare Awards South, Nandi Awards, Filmfare Best Telugu Actor Award, and many others. He has won the Best Actor Filmfare award 3 times for his amazing performance in the movies like ‘Race Gurram’, ‘Vedam’, ‘Parugu’. The actor has been awarded the Pravasi Ratna Puraskaram by the popular Malayalam TV channel. He has also won many hearts through his peculiar acting skills and is well-known for his amazing and energetic dancing abilities. Allu Arjun is not only known as an amazing actor but is also known as a philanthropist. He helps people in need through charity. He had made donations to orphanages and CM relief funds. In this Corona Pandemic when the world was facing hardships economically, Allu Arjun donated Rs 20 lakh to the Corona Crisis Charity and this takes his total contribution to Rs 1.45 crore. He announced a donation of Rs 1.25 crore to the relief funds of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala.

Allu Arjun can also be seen spreading awareness, he started a campaign against the smoking of tobacco, in 2021. He said, “I wanted to draw people’s attention towards the ill- effects of smoking. We have constructed very incorrect notions of what’s cool and helpful. I want to effect a change, no matter how small it is.” Allu Arjun has appeared in the list of the most influential young Indians of 2020. He has appeared on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2014. He is the ‘Most Searched Male Celebrity in 2020 on Yahoo! India. Allu Arjun has also appeared as the most searched Tollywood actor on Google Search, many times. He is known to have a kind and humble personality. His movies like ‘Arya 2’, ‘Vedam’, were failures at the box office. But he has recovered from his failures soon after performing leading roles in super hit movies. His consistent hard work and perseverance have been the reason that he is still a well-known South Indian actor after his 18 years of acting career Allu Arjun has won his first Best Actor Filmfare Award for his movie Parugu in 2008.

His overall acting career until now is quite successful. He has collaborated with the director Trivikram Srinivas thrice for movies  Julayi (2012), Satyamurthy (2015, and Ala Vaikunta Puram (2020). All three movies were successful crossing over Rs 262 crore at the box office. He is well-known for his kind personality in the film industry. His kind and down-to-earth personality make fans love him more. His encounters with his fans are always good, no arguments or any sort of arrogant behavior is seen by him. He has been praised many times by his co-stars and directors. The Tollywood director KRISH, who directed the ‘VEDAM’ movie said in an interview that. “Nowadays man is becoming like a giraffe. That means, the distance between his heart and brain is increasing (meaning, man is forgetting all the relations and values). But Allu Arjun is still a man because his heart and brain are very close to each other.” Being praised this way by a director is the greatest achievement for any actor.
