who is Prabhu Dev ?

Prabhu Deva was born in Mysore, Karnataka and grew up in Alwarpet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He was inspired by his father Mugur Sundar, who was a dance master of South Indian films. He made dance his career and mastered the forms and western dances of Indian classical dance such as Bharatanatyam. She is considered the best dancer of India and brought modern dance forms to Indian films.

His brothers Raju Sundaram and Nagendra Prasad are also considered dance directors. Prabhu Deva's first film as a dance director was Vetri Vijha (1949). Earlier, he appeared in the Tamil film Agni Natchathiram as a playback dancer. Since then, she has performed dance in over 100 films. He started his career as an actor with the actress Roja in the film Indhu (1949). Prabhudeva Sundaram was born on 3 April 1973 in Mysore. His childhood was spent in Alwarpet, Chennai. Acting career

Prabhu Deva was given the first lead role of director Pavavitaharan in the romantic drama film, Indhu (1994), following a series that featured in songs from Tamil films. Appearing alongside actresses Roja and Sarathkumar, Dev's dancing ability was fully utilized in the song sequences, with songs and disco music regularly featured in his films. He made his breakthrough as an actor with Shankar's centenary film, the romantic drama Kadhalan (1994), where he portrayed a young student, who stood first against his lover's father and then an international terrorist.

The film was highly praised for its technical prowess and went on to win four National Film Awards, while A. R. Rahman's lyrics and Dev's choreography, especially in the songs "Mukkabala" and "Urvasi Urvasi", became very popular all over India. Despite starring relative newcomers, the film went on to become the biggest-grossing Tamil film of 1994 and commercial success made Deva a successful actor.

The film also saw success through its dubbed Telugu and Hindi versions, creating a market for Prabhu Dev in other Indian regional industries. His next film Rasaiya (1995) grew to poor reviews and collections, but he continued to attract big-budget films and starred in two more films with music by Rahman in 1996, Love Bird and Mr. Shot extensively in Romeo London, the love birds received a wide theatrical release in foreign landmarks and won Dev positive reviews for their portrayal.
